SPECIFICATION

  Current Rating 250 Amps
  Voltage 650/1300 Volts

  Restrained socket with integral I.P.C flange. Provision for 3 mains and 1 pilot with scraping earth facility.
IPC FACILITY
  The socket has provision for interruption
     of the pilot circuit through an outlet
     gland, to allow remote control and
     tripping of the pilot circuit remote from
     the equipment.
  The outlet gland is designed for use with
     type 62 cable
APPLICATION
  To facilitate the connection of restrained plugs designed to BS5620 and the fitting of an I.P.C plug.
  Suitable for deep mine and opencast Environments.
  The restrained sockets are designed for installations where a pilot control circuit is in operation acting as an electrical interlock.
  Can be used at either 650 or 1300 volts.
